Dew Covered Yellow Rose
The rain comes and washes away any dust and dirt, leaving only the beauty behind. I hope you enjoy this lovely rose.

Spiders on flowers
I know a lot of you may not like spiders but sometimes I think they’re beautiful. They also eat some pests, which I also appreciate. For those of you who do like spiders, I hope you enjoy these photos.

December Daisy #2
Here are some more photographs of a daisy that bloomed in December.

Super Beetle
I came across this cow skull as I was walking in the countryside of Ukraine and as I started to take pictures of it, I noticed this beetle perched on it’s horn. For some reason when I look at the pictures, I can’t help thinking the beetle feels like it conquered the cow and is staking it’s claim.

Macro Photographs of Strange Bug
I love moss, how it looks and how it feels on your bare feet if you are blessed enough to walk on it. Saying that, I look at moss as I am wandering through nature and as I was looking at it, I found this little guy. I have no clue what he is, but he’s interesting if nothing else. The intricacy of small creatures makes me stand in awe of our very large God.

December Daisy
I live in North Carolina, so I know we don’t have the hardest of winters, but it was still a surprised to see this daisy begin to blossom at the very end of November. Here are some photos over the course of a few days in December.

December 7th (you can see the ice crystals quite a bit on this one):

Dandelion Fluffs
I went through a short phase and having the Dandelion as my favorite flower, I think they are quite intricate and I like how they sometimes surprise you where they turn up (on sidewalks, roads, etc.). I know they’re somewhat of a nuisance but I’m not big on man-made stuff so…maybe that’s one reason I kind of like them. I also love their seeds, I know most people probably don’t appreciate me blowing on the Dandelion fluffs, because it helps to spread them even more, but it’s just so fun.
Here’s a few fluffs I’ve taken pictures of. I hope you enjoy.

Looking Up in the Season of Falling Leaves

I couldn't decide whether I liked the darker one above or this one, so I posted both.

Golden Hay on a Cloudy Day
These were taken on a bike trail in Searcy Arkansas.

Just a heads up, because these were taken in low lighting, if you get a large print of them, you may be able to see a little noise. For those who don’t know, “noise” in photography basically means the picture is a little spotty instead of sharp…some people think it can be “artistic,” though I don’t really like it. I got an 8″x10″ of the top one and it was beautiful and “noise-free.”
Four-leaf clovers in color
Here are some four-leaf clover pictures I took yesterday after a misty rain.

Four-leaf clovers in black and white
Yesterday we had a nice misty rain and when it stopped for awhile I was able to get these shots. According to Wikipedia, “It has been estimated that there are approximately 10,000 three-leaf clovers for every four-leaf clover”…I guess I’m pretty good at finding things. I hope you enjoy.

Micro Photography of Autumn Leaves
Here are some close-ups of some Fall leaves. The only way my camera will focus this close to an object is if it is very well lit, so I held the leaves up to the sun as I took the pictures…and almost went blind a few times in the process.
I hope you like them.

Lucky: Photos of Four-leaf and Five-leaf clovers…selective coloring
I spent a couple hours looking around for these today (and took some pictures of other things, too). I’ve always been pretty good at finding them. Because it’s a genetic mutation that is, I assume, hereditary; if you find one four-leaf in a patch of clovers, you’ll probably find more. Too bad the only luck I get from finding them is the luck to find more of them.

I promise, it really has five leaves, I didn't add it in with editing or anything.

I admit, I gathered these from throughout a clover patch and placed them together for this shot.
Photos of spiders and flowers
With their arms outstretched, they wait for the kill, they wait to embrace their meal in deathly gesture of gratitude. Just some spiders I’ve seen around. They look a little like they want to give you a hug…but I don’t think it would be a friendly one.

Sorry the last three are almost the same…I couldn’t decide which I liked the most. I hope you have a wonderful day.
A Variety of Autumn Leaves
Here’s some pictures of the Autumn leaves that I took while I was at Hanging Rock State Park in North Carolina. I especially like the ones of the leaves in the water. I hope you like them, too.

Red Maple Leaves
I seem to take a lot of pictures of Red Maple leaves, I guess I like the colors they turn, so here’s a post dedicated to them. I took all these pictures at Hanging Rock State Park. Hope you have a great day.

Looking up at Autumn
A couple days ago I went to Hanging Rock State Park in North Carolina with some friends. Some of the leaves were beginning to change and they were beautiful. The temperature was also good and the company was great. Thanks to Alia and Vincent for hanging out. May God continue to bless you both.
These are some pictures I took while “looking up.” A couple of years I did this, too, but I had forgotten how much I liked them, thanks to Alia for doing it herself and reminding me. I hope you all enjoy. If you can, you should travel to a park somewhere to enjoy the weather and the scenery…but if you can’t, stay tuned and I’ll share some of the beauty that’s found out there.
